Josh Lawson is a landscape management industry leader with more than 21 years of experience driving growth, operational excellence and long-term client partnerships in the commercial sector.

Josh began his career in field operations and advanced into senior leadership, earning a reputation for pairing practical industry knowledge with a strong strategic mindset. He has led large maintenance operations across the Southeastern United States, helping organizations scale, improve performance and strengthen client retention. His leadership played a key role in positioning several regional landscape organizations for successful acquisition by private equity firms and the industry’s largest providers.

Josh co-founded Cedar Hill with a straightforward goal: to be a partner that is easy to work with. It sounds simple, and that is the point. Too many providers have drifted away from the basics of showing up, communicating and following through, and both their customers and their employees have felt the effects. Cedar Hill is built to get those basics right, every day.

Josh also served eight years in the United States Army Military Police Corps, including a deployment to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.

Kevin brings more than 25 years of landscape industry experience to Cedar Hill, with a background spanning operations, account management, estimating, business development, preconstruction and leadership. That breadth of experience led him to start Cedar Hill with a simple idea: build a company that does more than perform good landscape work, one that genuinely makes life easier for its customers and employees.

Throughout his career, Kevin has been drawn to roles that let him solve problems, develop people and improve the way businesses operate. He believes the landscape industry is ultimately a people business, where strong relationships, consistent execution and problem solving matter as much as the finished landscape.

As an owner, his vision is for Cedar Hill to become the go-to landscape partner throughout the Southeast by being intentional about the things that sound simple but are difficult to deliver consistently: communication, accountability, follow-through and taking care of people.

Outside of Cedar Hill, Kevin enjoys time with his family, traveling, hiking, mountain biking and baseball. He also admits that after more than 25 years in the business, he still has a hard time looking at just about anything without wondering how it could be done a little better.
